SENSOR NETWORK AND FIRMWARE ARCHIVE
Domestic Light’s sensor network utilises a network of custom light color sensors to gather the spectral color information at each participating location. As of September 2025, we are working towards the culminating installation premiering in 2026, and no longer installing new sensors for the project.
We have archived resources and reference links for the sensor network including help pages, github source code, and set-up information.
The sensor firmware and design is available for re-use and is readily extensible for use as a multi-modal networked environmental sensor. We can also supply assemble your own sensor kits suitable for use in electronics and art curricula. Please reach our via our contact page to Ian.
The data set gathered will also be published here at project completion as an open source resource. time-lapse recording of participating locations.
